The company's founder, Lee, has had a varied construction career developed over more than 2 decades. Back when Lee had no idea what to do after college, he became a qualified bricklayer and general builder, going on to complete a QS degree and becoming an MAPM Project Manager and Employer's Agent.

This apparent lack of early-career vision has given way to a widely experienced and very knowledgable construction consultant.

Experience

THE SILVERSTONE INTERACTIVE MUSEUM

Lee acted as EA on this high profile, £20m+ transformation of a WWII T2 aircraft hangar into the worlds finest motorsport and historical experience. With patrons HRH Prince Harry and Lewis Hamilton MBE. The project faced significant challenges including it's PC becoming insolvent around 75% through the works. The project was delivered successfully, despite the various setbacks.

HUNTINGDON CREMATORIUM

This was another challenging development, with a PC that was highly commercial re. valuations and quality of work, and delivered through COVID lockdowns. Acting as EA, Lee had to be ultra vigilant in all areas, to fully defend the Client's position and achieve the required results, often reducing valuations by 20%+ and carrying out numerous additional quality inspections. The development was delivered to a high standard and within the approved budget.

PMO SERVICES

Pre-EDK, Lee worked with some of the UK's largest retailers, successfully delivering multiple roll-out programmes. This experience included both PM and PMO roles, including leading teams to delivery within those commissions. EDK are currently supporting another of the largest retailers, for whom we have written delivery processes for 800 site programmes, in addition to preparing delivery processes for larger, individual, major works projects.
